Finally fully going to the dark side, Kristen Stewart debuted her new Joan Jett hairdo for the upcoming flick The Runaways. While she sported an edgier, more layered do earlier in the week, Stewart unveiled the finished rendition of the rocker’s messy shag on Wednesday morning.

Stewart’s outfits also seem to channel her new musician role. Shunning the softer shades of her Twilight character Bella, the actress was spotted in dark burgandy jeans and a black t-shirt with the guitar’s neck formed by the words “revolution rock.”

New teen BFFs Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning took a break between shooting The Twilight Saga: New Moon and their next endeavor, The Runaways to hit up L.A.'s legendary hotspot The Roxy on Sunset on June 9.

Kristen, 19, will be playing legendary rocker chick Joan Jett in The Runaways with Dakota, 15, as one of her bandmates Cherie Currie.
The girls arrived at the Roxy in Kristen’s car to a swarm of waiting paparazzi, causing Dakota to duck from the blinding flashes.
A Roxy Spokesperson tells RadarOnline.com that Fanning and Stewart, 19, came out to see the headlining performer, Patrick Wolf an electro-pop Brit singer.
"They were a little bombarded with cameras in the audience so we worked it out for them to watch from a backstage area," Heather Kohos tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.
The Roxy is open to all ages, however the hotspot has a full bar, requiring underage clubbers to buy a food and beverage ticket to get in.
"They weren't drinking," Kohos pointed out. "They were just here to see the show."

Jumping on the cut-out bandwagon, Kristin Cavallari wore the same strapless Herve Leger black mini-number Heather Graham wore in Dublin 2 days ago, but who wore it better?
Let the (undead) style wars begin: the True Blood vampirettes beat out the Twilight gals in the fashion department. Anna Paquin and Mariana Klaveno both stunned the season two premiere on the red carpet in Los Angeles in classy, chic, dark, and dramatic ensembles -- thankfully, there were no Kristen Stewart Chuck Taylors in sight!
In the Far East, Megan Fox continued her sexy style siren world tour in a very tight and fabulously fierce Herve Leroux teasing LBD.

Snapped yesterday in Los Angeles, Stewart seems in a transition period form her signature brown and auburn Bella locks to a feathered, edgier top-cut and clipped back.

Bella Loves Her Mini Cooper

Back from Vancouver and Italy where she filmed “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” Kristen Stewart was all over the mean streets of Los Angeles this week, zooming around in her adorable Mini Cooper.
The petite actress took in business meetings in the Toluca Lake and Valley Village areas of the San Fernando Valley, visited with friends and did a fashion shoot for Allure magazine, driving herself to all her meetings in her cute-mobile.
At just 5’5”, Kristen and her Mini obviously make a great team.

Kristen Stewart has been making good impressions long before Bella Swan.
RadarOnline.com spoke with casting director Nancy Nayor, who placed Stewart in 2007's The Messegers, who said it was crucial to have the young star in their film--even if cost them six figures.
"When we cast Kristen for The Messengers, she was under 18. We added close to $1 million to the budget but we felt she was so special that we had to do it," said Noyer.
"There was a big debate at the studio over whether to hire her because she was only 16, but after reading her, there was no question that creatively she was the only choice. We literally changed our business plan to put her in the movie," agreed fellow casting head Kelly Wagner.
The New Moon star next slated to play rocker Joan Jett in a biopic titled The Runaways.

She may not play glamour girls onscreen and she is the queen of casual off-screen, but Kristen Stewart got her feet wet (literally!) at a recent glitzy photo shoot in Santa Monica. The New Moon star splashed in the waves as she struck some come-hither poses underneath the beach’s famous pier.

Stewart’s tough side did surface when she suffered from intense ankle pain during the shoot. Always the professional, the actress donned a black ankle brace and finished the project despite having to limp through the remainder of it. The shoot must go on!
