After apparently hanging up on a few radio stations Friday morning, Miley Cyrus managed to get through an entire interview with one of her hometown stations 107.5 The River in Tennessee.
Having hung out-and jetskied- with ex Nick Jonas in Georgia recently, the newly-single Cyrus was asked about whether or not it has been awkward working with a former flame.

“No, he’s my best friend,” she responded before confirmed they have been “reconnecting” and “kicking it and hanging out.”
So how did this lovely reunion occur? Cyrus explains:
“We kind of just called each other and we were all over the separation...our families are so happy.”
As for time on the lake, Cyrus said “no comment” leaving the issue of a reignited romance with Jonas still ambiguous. Everyone needs a little summer loving!

Miley Cyrus' handlers made it clear Friday morning that they mean business, by hanging up the phone during the teen queen's interview with a Florida deejay.
The chat with the MJ Morning Show started off strange with the Hannah Montana star, who is in Savannah shooting her next movie, ranting about how much she hated bugs. Then the radio host told Miley he got a list of things he is verboten from bringing up and must focus on her tour and her music.
The superstar played along until MJ asked her if Jamie Foxx ever said he was sorry for slammin' her.

Lucie Kim is suing Cyrus on behalf of other Asians regarding a photo of Cyrus and her friends pulling their eyes in a slanted position (allegedly to mimic Asian eyes). Last week, Cyrus won a small victory when the judge warned Kim the case didn’t hold much water.
"I'm giving you one more chance to prove that Miley Cyrus is a business establishment. I have grave doubts that you will be able to prove that she is," Judge Hess had said. "Here she is with a bunch of kids in a private situation, and it gets posted on the Internet. I'm not persuaded that she is a business establishment that falls under the Unruh Act."
"Conduct that for a variety of reasons that is immature, childish, and some people may consider it grossly offensive."
"This doesn't address the problem that she is a minor, there are major problems with class, I don't see how you could get class certification."

Tossing "safe" fashions to the curb, members of young Hollywood's elite set had the opportunity to step out in edgy and risk-taking numbers for Sunday night's 2009 Young Hollywood Awards.
Bar Refaeli went bold in the color department, in addition to her orange-like tan, the Israeli supermodel did it up in a hot pink mini and bright purple pumps. EXCLUSIVE: Judge: Miley Cyrus May Be Immature But Probably Not On The Hook For $4 Billion
Posted on Jun 04, 2009 @ 03:30PM - Add a comment
A hearing has just ended in Los Angeles County Superior Court with Judge Robert Hess voicing his doubt that plaintiff Lucie Kim can prove that Miley Cyrus damaged she and other Asian Pacific Islanders to the tune of $4 billion.
Kim had filed suit against the teen singer in February, following the internet leak of a photo showing Miley, her boyfriend Justin Gaston and several other friends pulling their eyes in a slanted position.
Kim sued, claiming she and others of Asian descent had been seriously damanged.
Judge Hess isn't sure he's buying it but gave Kim's attorney 10 days to file a motion showing Cyrus falls under California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.
"I'm giving you one more chance to prove that Miley Cyrus is a business establishment," Judge Hess said from the bench.
"I have grave doubts that you will be able to prove that she is.
"Here she is with a bunch of kids in a private situation, and it gets posted on the internet.
"I'm not persuaded that she is a business establishment that falls under the Unruh Act.
"Conduct that for a variety of reasons that is immature, childish, and some people may consider it grossly offensive.
"This doesn't address the problem that she is a minor, there are major problems with class, I don't see how you could get class certification."
In other words, don't count on getting rich off of Miley being insensitive!

Just when you thought it was safe to forget about the lawsuit blasting Miley Cyrus for racial insensitivity--President Barack Obama has been dragged into the legal mess.
Lucie J. Kim, who sued Cyrus over pictures of the singer using her fingers to slant her eyes, says Miley can't get off the hook that easy--she's a global brand and must be held accountable.
Using evidence like her performance at the inauguration of President Barack Obama, as well as appearances on major syndicated television shows those of Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walter, Kim claims that its not Miley the girl she wants justice from, its Miley, Inc.
"Destiny Hope Cyrus aka Miley Cyrus is a 'business establishment' within the scope of the Unruh Civil Rights Act," the papers state.
A hearing is scheduled for tomorrow in Los Angeles, Ca.
