Demi Lovato said that working with John Mayer on her forthcoming album, Here We Go Again, was "a dream come true."
The Disney diva said Mayer (who had reached out to Lovato after hearing she was a fan of his) had a keen eye for detail.
"John Mayer's been a huge influence on me. His songwriting really inspires me," she told MTV. "You hear music that has the same chord progression, but what he does, he changes it up. There's little things that make him stand out."

Ah, it’s finally here! The long awaited return of The Hills featuring the antics of Lauren and Audrina for the very last season (although Aud will be spinning off onto her own docu-drama). The season opener has the gang throwing Lauren a birthday bash which turns rancid-apple-tini-sour when Stephen shows up with… yep, the Heidster! Incidentally, on a little Heidi side note, last week she dropped her first single entitled "Look How I'm Doing”. I know!! What??!!! Yes, Heidi’s a singer now! So for all of you asking, “Will her 15 minutes EVER die out?!?

As if there wasn't enough competition amongst the young prima donnas of The Hills already, RadarOnline.com now brings you the Battle Of The Hills Girls' Styles.

Gamers: We’re All Guitar Heros
Posted on Mar 17, 2009 @ 04:59PM - Add a comment

For those of us who want to play like Rock stars, Guitar Hero and Rock band video games never leave the Wii , Playstation or Xbox.
Still, the companies that make the games are worried since sales are down. They only made 1.6 billion last year. Someone call Obamba for a stimulus package!
Even if we feel we don’t need to hold a benefit for Activision or Viacom, we have to applaud their plan to add more music genres to help boost “stagnant sales.”
DJ Hero is the planned end of year release by Activision, which taps into electronica, rap and hip-hop fans and the company plans to release twice as many Guitar Hero games this year as in 2008 starting with a version due out March 29 that features music from heavy metal band Metallica.
Viacom Inc., whose MTV division owns the rights to the Rock Band franchise, said last month that sales of Rock Band 2 were lower than it had hoped. Again, they were spoiled by a sales surge of surging 68% in 2008, but with new titles and new musical niches, we’ll think they’ll do just fine, thanks very much.

Who? You know, that guy from Saturday Night Live. Admittedly, one of the most raucous (read: fun) movie awards, this year the MTV Movie Awards will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, Sunday May 31st. (Nominees will be announced in the coming weeks.)
Past Movie Awards hosts have included Ben Stiller, Jimmy Fallon, Mike Myers and Justin Timberlake. Known for its unconventional categories -Best Kiss, Best Villain, Best Action Sequence- and for surprise bits, as when a presumably stoned band member climbed the set and celebs routinely bag each other.
