Taylor Swift said she was at first "excited" to see Kanye West jump on the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night during her acceptance speech for Best Female Video Award, "...then, I wasn't so excited anymore."

The Heartless singer hijacked the stage during the speech, saying "Yo, Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"

Swift responded with grace, telling reporters afterwards, "I don't know him and I don't want to start anything because I just had a great night tonight."

The silver lining in Swift's cloudy evening was sealed when the classy Knowles invited her on the stage while accepting the Video of the Year Award.

"Before the talented artist, the superstar, she's always been a great person," Swift said of Knowles. "And I just, I thought that I couldn't love Beyonce more tonight and then tonight happened and it was just wonderful."
